Review
This is the second book in this series. It follows on directly from book 1. We again follow the exploits of The Seductors. A team who are paid by high profile people to gather information from a target. Harris the top Seductor and was chosen for this job. She had to gather information from handsome Oliver Kirkham. He is CEO to a hugely influential nuclear weapons company. Unfortunately Jade and Oliver fall in love and this is against the rules of the Seductors. I fell in love with Oliver immediately he is enigmatic but very protective of those he loves.The physical connection between Jade and Oliver is electric and you will find some hot sex scenes in this book. Oliver gives the relationship his all but Jade tries in vain to protect her heart knowing she will have to leave Oliver if the job doesn't go to plan. She is offered her freedom which is a change to the rules of the Seductors if she completes this job of stealing the Nuclear Power Core but she learns that by doing so she may put the world at risk of nuclear disaster. Jade wants to try to keep Oliver and also put a stop to this job of the Seductors, she doesn't want to put Oliver or the world at risk. We don't find out whether she achieves this, we will have to wait until the fall for the next instalment. The author has managed to successfully combine a sexy love story with a bit of suspense. The storyline is unique and because of this I found it quite a refreshing read. The characters were well developed in book one and this continued in Hunger. We met other Seductors and also colleagues and family of Oliver. They all had their own place in the story and definitely added to it. Overall I give this book 4 out of 5 stars and I'm really looking forward to the next instalment. ~~~~Rosie~~~
